December is the season of fun and frolic, the season to make merry, and at Palava, we did just that. We hosted Palava Carnival – a music, art & culture weekend on 18th & 19th Dec’21 at the Lakeside Park. An indulgent affair, the weekend carnival entertained the residents with the choicest cuisines, an art gallery, games, hobby workshops and much more. The children could not get enough of their favorite superheroes like Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America. And they had a gala time in the evening jumping on the trampoline, enjoying the moonwalk and the tattoo artist.
The first day witnessed an enthralling jugalbandi of Punjabi Dhol vs. Nashik Dhol followed by dazzling performances by our very own shortlisted contestants of Palava’s Got Talent.
The second day played host to a Musical Flash Mob, followed by beautiful performances by Palava’s citizens and resident council members. The finale of the weekend was a pulsating performance by the famous rock band MH43.
With foot tapping beats, flea bazaars and savoury corners, the groovy evenings were filled with smiles, laughter, hugs and sheer joy! Good vibes, open skies and happy Palavians.
What began as a community activity in 2016 has now become the most sought-after event. With over 9000 residents, their friends and relatives attending the event across two days, the carnival truly was a vibrant gathering.
The Palava Carnival has certainly become a festivity to look forward to. We will be back next season! Meanwhile, stay tuned for the other interesting events at Palava!
