After a difficult period during the pandemic, the critical link for direct local train connectivity from Nilje railway station (the nearest railway station to Palava) to the central and western suburbs has been finally restored! Rail services at the station were suspended in March’20 due to the pandemic and resumed in October’21.
Palava residents commuting via Nilje to Panvel train commute from stations like Diva on the central line, and Vasai on the western line will now find their journeys much smoother and more convenient.
Overall, Palava’s connectivity is further improved.
To issue tickets/passes, the existing COVID-19 protocols for boarding any suburban local train service on the Mumbai division will be followed.
