They were welcome to their new soon to be delivered abode with a spectacular ‘Phoolon Wali Holi!
Held at the Premier Colony ground on 26th March, this celebration in the evening had over 300 families visiting Palava experience its rich community camaraderie and celebration of Indian traditions. While the guests had played the Holi all these years by smearing colours and pouring water, this unique style caught them by surprise. In addition to the play with fresh flowers they were regaled by soul soothing Krishna bhajans performed live by the members of ISKCON and listened attentively to a discourse by the revered, Shri Radha Gopinath Ji.
While families sought blessings from Lord Krishna and Radha, the temple priests anointed them with tilaks and flowers for this new beginning.
The smiles, happiness, good vibes and overwhelming emotions were a sight to behold, one has to experience the moment to understand its significance for these families. Like they say home is where the heart is, and all those there surely left behind a piece of their heart to return soon as residents of their new home in Palava, the International City with an Indian Heart!
